Introducing Mai the Melody

My name is Aqeelah Maisha E. Lair. I’m originally from Louisiana and have 3 kids! I am an intercessor and minister in training at Greater Faith Baptist Church in Bryan, TX under Pastor Kelon Dalton. I am a licensed Insurance Agent. I rededicated my life to Christ in January of 2016 and I have been walking with the Lord ever since! I have been singing and writing poetry all of my life. However, I had a near death experience in 2018 with a rare sickness that was causing all of my organs to shut down. I almost died and I spent a week in the hospital. When I came out of that experience, I began to be downloaded and equipped with tons of music. I began to transform into a worship song creating machine. It was then that my vision began to take shape. I have a passion and a call to change the world through my unique and explosive worship music. My music is meant to encourage multitudes and emit positive change!
